New information:

Visa facilitation FOR GEORGIA IS IN force as of MARCH 1st, 2011!

The agreement substantially simplifies the necessary documentary evidence regarding the purpose of the journey for a visa application for certain categories of persons.

A visa decision will be taken within 10 calendar days in general. However, if further research is required the total waiting period can be extended till 30 calendar days.

Holders of diplomatic passports are exempted from the visa obligation.

For all Georgian citizens the visa fee is reduced to 35 EURO.

Total exemption for the following categories of applicants for the visa fees:

- Close relatives (parents, grand parents, children or siblings), who are visiting Georgian citizens residing in the EU;

- Pensioners;

- Children below the age of 12 (during travelling date);

- Disabled persons;

- Scientists;

- Students;

- Journalists.
