How to apply
- The first step to apply for a visa is to make an appointment.

Attention:
Make sure you always make your own appointment at our visa-online appointment system which is FREE OF CHARGE.
While booking your appointment all details should be correct. If not, your appointment will be cancelled by our automated system and you will NOT receive a message of cancellation.
We strongly advise you again NOT to pay any agency of person for making a visa appointment on your behalf.

If the appointment system is fully booked you can try again next Monday to make your appointment.
- After an appointment is made, an applicant can download an application form with the list of requirements or requirements (in Georgian) .
- When the applicant has all the required documents, he has to come with the completed form together with all the required documents and can submit the application. Submitting documents can only be done at the exact time of the appointment at the consular department. All applicants need to appear in person to submit the application. Only complete applications will be accepted and taken into consideration.
The fee pays for the processing of the application and does not entitle the
applicant to a visa. The handling fee is not refunded in case of refusal.
After processing the visa application, the applicant’s passport will be
returned on appointment at 17.00 hours again at the Consular Department
of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The applicant will either receive the requested visa or the refusal letter.
Visa facilitation FOR GEORGIA is in force as of MARCH 1st, 2011!
The agreement substantially simplifies the necessary documentary evidence regarding the purpose of the journey for a visa application for certain categories of persons.
A visa decision will be taken within 10 calendar days in general. However, if further research is required the total waiting period can be extended till 30 calendardays.
Holders of diplomatic passports are exempted from the visa obligation.
For all Georigan citizens the visa fee is reduced to € 35,00.
Total exemption for the following categories of applicants for the visa fees:
- Close relatives (parents, grand parents, children or siblings), who are visiting Georgian citizens residing in the EU;
- Pensioners;
- Children below the age of 12 (during travelling date);
- Disabled persons;
- Scientists;
- Students;
- Journalists.
Applicants are strongly advised to refrain from using the services of agents to obtain a visa.
